US$ 564 billion war for profit (Is God Pleased?)

Mo money, mo money, mo money ... almost half a trillion dollars spent on the Iraq war as the gas prices continue to sky rocket and our President ask for still not just more money but thousands more troops and big corporations like our Vice President Chenney Haliburton are getting richer and richer from the govenment contracts created by the war.

Yet America's education, health, housing, employment, social services, and economic development just to name a few are in desparte need of money.

There is no wonder those profiting from the war don't want it to end, but the truth is one day someone is going to answer to God for it and Jesus said what does it profit man to gain the world and lose his own soul?

However, for those too rich and don't need to worry about dying one day this wont affect them

Has the Church become a market place for the devil?

Market - Process by which things of value are exchanged for money

People also can be considered things of value – Very subtle the enemy “like an angel of light” has crept into many churches and he is doing it in a loving way.

All too often, in the church we find calendar events created and money collected (for many different occasions all year long) the table is placed near the door of the church where the exchange of money changes from the hands of the sheep to be given to those in leadership (in the house of God).

This reminds me of what Jesus was angry about when He went to the temple and saw the tables of the money changers sitting and turned tables over calling it merchandising.

Jesus said My Fathers house should be a house of prayer but you have made it a den of thieves or house of merchandising. John 2:14

Nothing wrong with people giving to leadership when the Spirit of the Lord leads (by all means do so) but when demands are continually placed on the people of God to bring money (besides tithes and offering) created by calendar events that celebrate leadership’s value and their personal annual accomplishments for the works of their own hands (Jeremiah 1:16)

This is not what Jesus die for and God is not pleased!

Do we feel like God owes us something? Haven’t we all been saved by grace and not our good works? Shouldn't it be a privilege and honor just to be chosen by God to serve His people?

If you love Me feed My sheep is what Jesus said; not have the sheep celebrate men over and over every year month after month for the things they have done. Collecting money for calendar events ( a marketing technique used by Hallmark to a make up different days as occasions to celebrate and sell cards to make more money)

Jesus said I will bring My reward with Me. He said to leadership feed My sheep! God is not unrighteous to forget your labor of love, what happened to the labor of love?

These are the times Apostle Paul warned Timothy of “in the last days perilous times would come men would be lovers of self, lovers of money… having a form of godliness”( 2Timothy 3:1-4)

This is a deceptive spirit that has entered the church it’s been operating for years, now it’s become tradition and taken root, and when it’s talked about is causes offenses.

This reminds me when Jesus spoke to His disciples about the religious leaders of His day in Matthew 15:13 they asked him

(Do you know that the Pharisees took offense when they heard what you said?"
He said in reply, "Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be UPROOTED.
Let them alone; they are blind guides (of the blind). If a blind person leads a blind person, both will fall into a pit)

It's time to wake up and speak up, God told Jeremiah (1:16-19) tell My people what I am telling you do not be afraid of their faces they will not like it but tell them anyway.

It’s not people God is angry with, but that "spirit of deception" (we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and spiritual wickedness) Jesus said I came to EXPOSE the works of the devil".

It’s very frightening to think there are people serving God looking to hear well done and in the end only to discover they may have gained a world of souls but lost their own.

Jesus say many will say “Didn’t I prophesy in your name, cast out devils in your name do many wonders in your name”? And He will say depart from Me I never knew you.

Jennifer Hudson and Forest Whitaker and to that I say "bravo" out of all the bad images the world seems to have when it comes to blacks born in America, one thing remains and that's the fact that they are not ashamed of the Gosple of Jesus Christ!

It is amazing just how easily people feel they can take their opinions, feelings and emotions to put God (Creator of heaven and earth) in their personal mental boxes called a mind and make Him to be who they want Him to be.

"He said My thoughts are above your thoughts and My ways are above your ways"

All flesh is like grass and fades away, life on earth is but a vapor and then it's gone. Men and Science where both created by God and the created can never be greater than the Creator.

The Bible is the word of God and is very clear every word is God breathed.

Nevertheless let everyone make a decision to beleive what they want God does not need any man's approval but in the end we will all know the Truth.

That's really nice for now (temporary) to bad no one is going to live on this earth forever and one day no matter how much money you have rich or poor no one is getting off this earth alive.

One day each one of us is going to have to stand before God and give account of our life. So here's my question "What does it profit man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul"?

Is it more important to have temporary riches (money) or eternal life (the true riches)

2007 Resolution How to have faith in God

Faith is the substance of things hoped for… but hope alone is not enough…hope is temporary…for when the things you where hoping for comes to pass and it’s seen…hope is no longer needed.

Unless you come into the awareness of how to walk by faith, first... all you can ever do is hope. Faith sees the invisible it’s the “spiritual sight” that gives you natural faith.

Once you see a promise in the word that God has spoken… faith comes by hearing that word, then you must deliberately make a decision to trust God’s word no matter what it looks like in the natural.

God is invisible… by seeing God the invisible One, you see faith.
He causes the invisible become visible. God is not natural He is supernatural.

Once you have faith in your heart… that’s all the evidence you need… to be assured that it shall come to pass.

God is Spirit…we are spirit…. we have a soul… we live in a temporary body. All mankind has been created in the image of God and are more powerful than our mortal minds could ever comprehend.

Only when you truly allow your self to be led by the Spirit of God instead of your natural reasonings can you walk by faith.

The mind wants to be the controlling center for your life... by depending on logic. The mind naturally does not want you to depend on God...but God is not natural He is supernatural and wants us to walk in the same spirit realm.

It's up to you to seek God for your self through the reading of His word (Bible) and make a decision to allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you into all truth.

God is not intellectual like man or logical He does not make sense. Many times we look to do good things and that's good, but with out faith it's impossible to please God.

Hotel Chain Offers Massages for Dogs

In a world where Wall Street is hitting all time highs...the rich is getting richer as the working class continues to pay more… and get poorer. We see even the dogs of the wealthy also known as the "privilege pups" get massages to “release their stress” that the majority of humans can not afford. I wonder is God please?

Owners are spending billions of dollars a year overall… and hundreds at a time for “doggy massages” gourmet dog biscuits, with nail manicures and pedicures then afterward given designer water… served on silver platters while staying in 5 star Hotels.

As Americans continue to increase spending on their pets more every year…averaging about $2.3 Billion a year, this is a trend that does not seem to have an end in sight. Personally I think it's a "Dog Gone shame".

A look on the bright side… this could be a good "niche" to create a product to “pitch the rich” who will no doubt continue to "worship the creature more than the Creator" and splurge on their “privileged pets” at 5 star hotels like the Ritz Carlton.

While at the same time we see the darkness the Prophet Isaiah prophesied about in Isaiah 60:2 “ Darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the people” it’s something the “American Churches” especially may need to open their eyes to.

Even though some Pastors are very wealthy, yet... many of the tithe paying members of churches barley make it from pay check to pay check… and that’s only if they are fortunate enough to have a job.

It’s pretty obvious there is no shortage or lack in the world for the world… and if there was ever a time for “a transfer of wealth” to come out of darkness into the light certainly it would be now.

Those with ears to hear let them hear what the Spirit is saying…
